Cal Supply's Metal Flex Hoses provide a flexible connection that is not vulnerable to high temperatures, like those of a compressor discharge. These can also compensate for misaligned pipes.
Air Line Lubricator
Air Line Lubricators inject a fine mist of oil into the compressed air feeding air tools. They should be installed as close to the tool as possible.
Mufflers
Compressor Intake Mufflers are used to reduce the noise from compressor intakes. They are threaded on both ends to allow easy connection to the intake filter and the compressor inlet.
Exhaust Mufflers are used to reduce the noise caused by compressed air being exhausted to atmosphere, such as on the purge outlets of desiccant air dryers and vent solenoid valves. They are also used on the exhaust outlets of some air tools and other air motor operated equipment.
Evaporative Type Oil Water Separators use heat to evaporate the water from compressed air condensate, leaving only the oil behind to be properly disposed of. These are effective on all types of oils and oil/water emulsions.
Gravity Type Oil Water Separators take advantage of oil’s tendency to float on water to remove it from compressed air condensate. They also incorporate carbon filters to handle small amounts of emulsified oil. While gravity type separators use no energy and are the least expensive type of separator to purchase and maintain, they will not work with all types of oils. Regulators
Air Line Regulators are used to reduce the pressure of compressed air. Reducing pressure can save compressed air as well as extend the life of air operated equipment.
Separators
Vacuum Pump Separator Silencers are used on the outlets of water sealed liquid ring vacuum pumps to remove water from the exhaust and either recycle it or send it to the drain. They also reduce the noise from the vacuum pump exhaust.
Water Separators are commonly installed on the outlet of an aftercooler to collect large amounts of condensed water. They typically induce a vortex in the air stream to use centrifugal force to remove the liquid.
Cal Supply offers ASME Coded Air Receivers in sizes from 30 gallons to 5000 gallons in both horizontal and vertical configurations. Standard maximum pressure ratings are 137, 165 and 200 PSI. Higher ratings are available. Special tanks can be fabricated to meet your specifications.
Unloaders
Discharge Unloaders are typically used on engine driven reciprocating compressors. When the pressure setting is reached this valve vents the compressor’s outlet to the atmosphere. When tank pressure falls this valve sends the compressed air into the tank. Many models also include a control port to actuate the throttle control for the engine.
Pilot Valve Unloaders actuate the head unloaders of a constant speed compressor pump. It opens at it’s upper setting and sends an air signal to open the head unloaders. It closes at its’ lower setting and vents the air from the head unloaders which allows the compressor to load.
Valves
Ball Valves are an economical and reliable way to control the flow of liquids and gases. ¼” to 2” valves are available from our stock.
Relief Valves are set to relieve excessive pressure from a tank or piping before damage from overpressure can occur. They are sized by flow rate and pressure setting. These are a critical part of your compressed air system and can prevent catastrophic accidents from taking place. A wide variety of sizes and pressure settings are available from our stock.
Vibration Isolators are placed between the floor and the feet of tank mounted compressors to dampen the compressor’s vibrations. They also reduce stress on the welds that connect the feet to the tank, preventing premature failure of the tank.
